Welcome New Employees
The Employee Assistance Program has been a service provided to Fort Riley employees since 1979. This program is mandated by federal law as a service to all Department of Defense personnel, Department of the Army Civilian employees and their family members. This program assists with personal concerns that may effect the employee's job, performance or conduct in the workplace. This is a volunteer program that is free and confidential for assessment and referral information.
Administrative leave is authorized for Employee Assistance appointments. Your supervisor needs to be informed of your contact with our program, but the reason for attending your appointment does not have to be stated. Confidentiality is assured!
This program is here to help you, the Department of the Army's most valuable asset - You! Personal problems can and do effect performance, conduct, attendance, co-worker relationships and ultimately the organization. Specific issues that the Employee Assistance Program addresses: marital, family, financial, emotional, substance abuse, co-worker and any work related issues that will or are effecting your performance and conduct.
An employee written consent is required to release any information from the Employee Assistance Program that you request.
Only information obtained during any appointment, that would indicate harm to yourself or others would be released to appropriate personnel, without your consent.
The Employee Assistance Program is located in the Soldier and Family Support Center, building 7264 on Custer Hill. An appointment can be initiated by calling our staff at 785-239-5047.
