CSM Jake “Huck” Huckleby
Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Jake “Huck” Huckleby is a native of Milford, Illinois. He enlisted in the Army in July 2000 and attended OSUT at Fort Knox, Kentucky to become an Armored Crewman.
During his Career, Huck served as a Command Sergeant Major, Operations Sergeant Major, J33/37 Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA) USAFRICOM, Squadron Headquarters and Headquarters Troop First Sergeant, Cavalry Troop First Sergeant, J3 SEA USFOR-A, Scout Platoon Platoon Sergeant, Tank Platoon Platoon Sergeant, Section Sergeant, Tanker, and just a good old Cavalryman.
In addition to four combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operations Enduring Freedom; Huck has executed a tour in Korea, two tours in Deutschland, and 2 deployments in support of Operation, Ensure, Deter, Assure and Reinforce.

Huck’s military and civilian education include European Security Studies George C. Marshall Center for Security Studies, School for Command Preparation, Senior Leaders Course (SLC), Advanced Leaders Course (ALC), Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC), Battle Staff Course and he is a graduate of Class 70 of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy. Huck holds a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from UTEP and a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
