LEADERSHIP
Major General John V. Meyer, III graduated from the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in 1993 and was commissioned into the Armor Branch.MG Meyer has served in a variety of positions throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. He has commanded the 2d Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment and the 2d Cavalry Regiment. He has also served as the Deputy Commanding General (Maneuver), 4th Infantry Division.MG Meyer’s staff assignments include service as the Director of Training, G3, U.S. Army Forces Command; Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; and most recently, as the G3, U.S. Army Europe and Africa.MG Meyer holds a degree in history from VMI and is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies and the U.S. Naval War College. His awards include operational campaign medals for Southwest Asia, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Command Sergeant Major Christopher L. Mullinax enlisted into the Army on June 24, 1998 as an Infantryman.  He attended OSUT at Fort Benning, GA. He served as a Rifleman, Automatic Rifleman, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, and Command Sergeant Major. His duty assignments include 1st, 2d and 3rd Ranger Battalions as well as the 75th Ranger Regiment and the Ranger Special Troops Battalion; 1/503rd, 173rd Airborne Brigade; 2-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team and most recently the 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade. He has combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan, and tours across Europe and Africa. CSM Mullinax is a graduate of all levels of the NCO Educations System, U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 66, Combat Advisor Training Course, Airborne, and Ranger Course. His civilian education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in History. His awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and the Expert and Combat Infantry Badges.

She was commissioned in 1992 at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York, where she also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Comparative Politics.
