This month, our troops have been actively engaged in supporting recruiting events across the states of Kansas and Missouri, reaching out to potential future leaders of our Army. It’s a testament to our commitment to cultivating the next generation of warriors and leaders. As the Army observes the 50th Anniversary of the All-Volunteer Force, we reflect on our continued dedication to providing an opportunity for individuals to serve their country by choice, driven by a calling to be a part of something bigger than themselves. . .

This month our team continued to execute priorities while pausing to commemorate the 1st Infantry Division’s 106th birthday. June 8 is a time to celebrate the oldest continuously serving division in the Regular Army and take a moment to recognize the unwavering dedication and sacrifices of all the men and women who served in the Big Red One. It is also a time to take stock in all we have accomplished over the last year, and to celebrate the storied history of our division. . .

This month, we observed Memorial Day, a time to honor the men and women who died while serving our country throughout our nation’s history. The purpose of Memorial Day is to memorialize the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice. . .
