YEAR OF VICTORY



   


The 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley executes the Year of Victory during 2024 to recognize the Division’s storied history and legacy of Victory, honor the excellence within the Division and the Fort Riley community, and continue to develop innovative leaders of the future. Milestones for the Year of Victory include the 80th D-Day Anniversary Ceremony, the 1st Division Monument in Washington D.C. commemoration, and a guest speaker/leader professional development series. The Division will also focus on competing in Army-wide competitions to build camaraderie and highlight our Soldiers.

Fort Riley commemorated the 107th birthday of the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Cohort with a series of events held 9 July 2025.The celebration began with a physical training session at Whiteside Track, followed by a Leader Professional Development session and potluck luncheon at Victory Chapel.
