Fort Riley Weapons Registration
• All Weapons must be registered prior to bringing them on Fort Riley
• 24-Hour Temporary Registrations can be obtained at any Fort Riley Gate
• Weapons must be properly stored and declared when entering the Installation
• Permanent Weapons Registration can be completed at the Fort Riley Visitor Control Center at Henry Gate
Safe Storage
• Keep weapons locked up, separate from ammunition, and out of reach of children
• Firearms may not be stored in vehicles, offices, barracks, unaccompanied personnel quarters, transient quarters.
• On post Housing- Firearms will be stored in a locked container or have a trigger lock. Firearms and ammunition will be inaccessible to unauthorized persons and minors.
• Soldiers living in Barracks may store weapons in unit arms rooms
• Free trigger locks may be obtained at the Fort Riley Visitor Control Center
Range 4 - Pistol and Rifle
• Cost: $15 per person
• All firers will be required to show proof of weapons registration to the Range Cadre
• Age limit: 6 years and above with parental supervision.
• Pistol and Rifle up to .50 caliber.
Fort Riley Skeet and Trap Range
• No fees for use of range vests, and eye and ear protection
