Fort Riley! Commissary “Click2GO-on-the-Go” delivery services have arrived! Take advantage now! The delivery service is up to 20 miles from the commissary and yes, they can deliver off post within range. Cost & Range: $17.00 for 1-to-10 miles from commissary, $31.00 for the 11-to-20-mile range. The primary purpose of the “Victory Standard: The 1ID and Fort Riley Standards Book” is to inform all Big Red One and Fort Riley Soldiers of the high standards of conduct and appearance expected in the 1st Infantry Division and on this installation. The Soldiers of the 1st Infantry Division make up a highly disciplined fighting force. The standards in this book strengthen, enable, and demonstrate that discipline.

We have Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST) that can help you properly install your car seat.

FORT RILEY, Kan. – There’s a place on post where Soldiers, families, and civilians are building stronger bodies, clearer minds, and sustainable habits. It’s called the Armed Forces Wellness Center, a welcoming space where real people are finding their energy again, one smart habit at a time.

The AFWC is not a spa. It’s not a lecture series. And it’s definitely not a vague promise of “wellness.” It’s a full-spectrum, science-driven health coaching center staffed by experts who work one-on-one with clients, track measurable progress, and provide the tools needed to build a healthier life. . .

Implement controls while driving in adverse terrain and weather or use an alternate route when possible.

LACK-OF-TRACTION HAZARDS
Drill: “GRIT”
Maintain momentum and traction on unstable surfaces to avoid becoming stuck.
-Gentle Control: Avoid abrupt steering or braking. -Reduce Speed: Maintain a controlled, consistent pace.
-Increase Momentum (when appropriate): Use speed to overcome resistance.
-Traction Aids (if needed): Deploy mats, boards or a winch.

DEGRADED-VISIBILITY HAZARDS
Drill: “CLEAR”
Maintain control and situational awareness in severely limited visibility conditions.
-Calm Down (reduce speed): Slow to 10-15 mph or slower.
-Lights On (mission dictated): Activate headlights, fog lights, hazards.
-Enclose (seal vehicle): Prevent intrusion of the elements.
-Alert & Aware: Increase scanning, maintain focus. -Report Conditions: Communicate visibility to the unit.

WATER HAZARDS
Drill: “SWAMP”
Navigate and cross water obstacles safely, preventing vehicle submersion.
-Stop & Assess: Halt and reconnoiter the crossing point.
-Waterproof & Prepare: Seat the vehicle and raise intakes/exhausts.
-Advance Steadily: Maintain speed and steer into the current.
-Monitor & Report: Track the engine and report status.
-Post-Crossing Check: Inspect the vehicle for damage.
